In Zaporizhzhia, a horrific tragedy has unfolded, claiming the lives of three individuals and leaving a significant number injured. Russian occupying forces have employed tactics reminiscent of World War II fascists, launching repeated strikes on buildings even as rescuers are on scene.

According to police reports, on April 5th, shortly after noon, Russian occupation forces launched three rockets at the regional center. Soon after, two additional strikes followed. This devastating series of events resulted in the loss of three lives, with the number of injured rising to 13, four of whom are in critical condition.

Among the wounded in Zaporizhzhia are journalists from prominent Ukrainian media outlets, including representatives from the “1+1” television channel and the “Ukrinform” news agency. They fell victim to the second strike, perpetrated by occupiers in the same vicinity where rescuers and journalists were already assisting the injured.

This tragedy has sparked serious concern and outrage within Ukrainian society. It is hoped that those responsible for this heinous act will be held accountable, and that the victims will receive all necessary assistance and support.

It’s worth noting that the events in Zaporizhzhia are just one aspect of Russia’s aggressive policies in Ukraine, and concerted efforts from the international community are needed to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
