China and Russia: Threat to World Peace?

The global political arena is experiencing turbulent times. The increasing cooperation between China and Russia is leading to the formation of a new balance of power, posing a threat to stability and security worldwide as regional superpowers shape new power balances and blocs. Recent events indicate growing military support from China to Russia, jeopardizing global stability and security, especially considering certain preparatory stages such as Iran’s readiness to engage with Israel, China’s stance on Taiwan, and tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

As of today, Beijing not only supports Russia’s military-industrial complex but also actively contributes to the war in Ukraine, raising serious concerns from the United States. According to information provided by the Financial Times, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed this during a meeting with EU and NATO foreign ministers.

According to journalists, he emphasized that Beijing’s assistance to Moscow is “of concern in its scale.”

The discussion revolved around providing the aggressor with certain instruments and resources, as well as conducting technical expertise. Special attention is paid to the production of optical equipment and rocket fuel, as well as the space sector of the Russian Federation.

Preventing a potential transition to global warfare, and perhaps humanity’s destruction, can only be achieved by decisively deterring aggressors today. If the Russian Federation continues to attack Ukraine with impunity, it will send a clear signal to its allies that such actions are acceptable.

During this period, it is extremely important for world leaders to show determination and unite in joint efforts to ensure peace and stability on the international stage. The future of our planet and the fate of millions of people depend on it.
