Ukraine is planning to enhance its defense capabilities using state-of-the-art technologies. According to Bild, the Ukrainian army is set to introduce new modifications of drones capable of covering vast distances and even striking targets in the Urals and the Transpolar region.

According to agency reports, modifications to some drones already enable them to fly over long distances, and as early as this year, Ukraine will be able to deploy drones with a range of up to 2000 km and beyond. These drones will address the need for medium and long-range missiles.

A source from the publication revealed that by the end of the year, as many as 10 manufacturers will supply drones to the Ukrainian Navy with a range of up to 2500 km, while the Kiev-based Design Bureau “Luch” has developed a drone named “Sokol-3000” capable of flying 3300 km. Thus, according to calculations, drones can target sites such as those in the Murmansk region, where approximately 80 Russian military bases are located, including the Olenya airbase with strategic bombers.

These new capabilities will enable Ukraine to strengthen its defense and provide effective protection against potential threats. The implementation of these advanced technologies demonstrates a continuous increase in the country’s defense capacity and its readiness to defend its interests in the region.
