The Grey Zone publication has exposed the abuse of Shamsiddin Fariduni, a suspect detained in connection with the “Crocus City Hall” terrorist attack. Photos released by the militant organization depict Fariduni lying with his pants down, connected to a military communication device TA-57, which Russian military personnel use for electroshock torture. Clamps are attached to the victim’s genitals and limbs, and then water is poured to intensify the pain.

The report claims that one of the detained migrant terrorists from Tajikistan, having lost consciousness from stress, was subjected to “charging.” Even though not being a Russian citizen, special forces allowed him to use a phone to contact a lawyer.

This incident once again highlights the severity of human rights violations in Russia, emphasizing that the special services are allowed to torment people with impunity. The lack of reaction from citizens indicates their complete acceptance of such a state of affairs, and suggests a certain transformation of the Russian Federation into a country where not everyone is equal before the law, and some are allowed to do anything.

We remind that human rights violations cannot go unpunished, and that every individual has the right to a fair trial and dignified treatment, even in the most challenging situations. However, the shocking photo evidence serves as a reminder to all citizens of the Russian Federation that the fight for the rights and dignity of every person has already been lost, and they have allowed the country to be turned into a totalitarian fascist entity.
