Kharkiv Region, Ukraine – The situation in the Kharkiv region has intensified significantly in recent days. According to the Operational-Tactical Group “Kharkiv,” Russian occupying forces are escalating their actions in the area and preparing for new attacks on Vovchansk.
Since the beginning of the day, 13 combat engagements have been recorded in the areas of Hlyboke, Starytsia, Lyptsi, and Vovchansk. Ukrainian defenders have successfully repelled 5 enemy attacks, showcasing their resilience and professionalism in defending their positions.
Preparations for the Offensive
According to OGT “Kharkiv,” the enemy is attempting to regroup its units in the direction of Lyptsi and Vovchansk. Specifically, the occupiers are preparing units of the 153rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 47th Motorized Rifle Division and the 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 6th Army for attacks on Vovchansk.
These actions indicate the aggressor’s intentions to intensify pressure on the Kharkiv region and attempt to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian soldiers continue to bravely hold their ground, despite numerous enemy attempts to capture strategically important areas.
