Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently highlighted the country’s progress towards achieving full defensive autonomy. In his evening video address, Zelensky emphasized the necessity for Ukraine to employ all possible means and resources to continuously inflict effective damage on Russian forces, their logistics, and significant positions not only on the front lines but throughout all accessible depths.

“Our goal is to use every method and all available forces to ensure continuous and effective damage to Russian troops, their logistics, and key positions not just directly on the front but across the entire depth that we can reach,” Zelensky stated, underscoring the importance of integrating advanced military technologies and indigenous developments into the defense strategy.

As Russia’s aggression persists, breaching international norms and threatening European security, Ukraine is actively pursuing the development and implementation of new missile systems. These systems aim to significantly enhance the effectiveness of Ukraine’s strike operations against Russian aggressors.

Zelensky stressed the importance of maintaining a steady and relentless pressure on the enemy. In the face of ongoing insecurity and uncertainty, this approach is crucial for preventing further escalation of Russian aggression and restoring peace within Ukraine.

The project to develop new rockets and weaponry is part of a broader strategy aimed at achieving maximum defense independence. This involves not only bolstering military capabilities but also improving the management and coordination systems within the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Concurrently, efforts are being made to reduce reliance on external aid and maximize the use of domestic resources to ensure national security. These efforts are intended not only to support combat capabilities but also to facilitate the swift recovery of infrastructure and social facilities affected by the conflict.

The green light for these plans has been made possible thanks to international support and technological advancements. However, the primary role in ensuring the country’s defensive capabilities remains with the Ukrainians themselves. In this context, the effectiveness of our defense strategy and the ability to independently produce and utilize modern weaponry will be crucial for maintaining stability and security in the region.
