President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, alongside military officials and high-ranking bureaucrats, convened an extensive meeting dedicated to a crucial aspect of military technology – the development of drones. This significant session aimed at discussing and refining production plans for the current year concerning various types of drones, including FPV, bombers, scouts, and long-range drones for specialized tasks.
According to the Ukrainian leader, plans were not only updated but also detailed to ensure optimal execution of drone manufacturing tasks. The meeting also shed light on ensuring flexibility within the defense-industrial complex (DIC) due to constantly evolving frontline needs.
A focal point of the discussion was the testing of a comprehensive management system for radio-electronic warfare measures aimed at protecting military personnel and equipment from enemy drones.
“The system is already undergoing successful testing in separate directions. Scaling the project across the entire frontline is planned,” emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.
This meeting proved to be a significant step in the development of Ukraine’s military-technological complex, highlighting the importance of continuous improvement and adaptation to modern military challenges and threats.
