According to the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine has significantly expanded the production of long-range kamikaze drones and has already surpassed Russia in terms of quantity.
In an interview with journalist Ilya Kabachinsky, Fedorov noted that currently, Ukraine has up to 10 manufacturers of such drones, and their production is limited only by budgetary funding.
“We can produce thousands of these drones. Thousands have already been manufactured, and almost every day, some are being deployed on the territory of Russia. And this can be scaled up. In six months, we have caught up with Russia in quantity, and they must understand that we will continue to scale up, and we have just begun,” emphasized the minister.
Fedorov also added that in parallel with increasing drone production, Ukraine is developing new electronic warfare (EW) systems to combat enemy drones.
“We will destroy them,” Fedorov declared, announcing the introduction of the enhanced unmanned boat Magura with a range of 833 km. According to him, the boat is prepared for new tasks with “new surprises.”
