London and Paris, two major capitals known for their understanding of geopolitical realities, have made a significant statement through their Foreign Ministers, David Cameron and Stéphane Sédillot, in a column for The Telegraph.

“If Ukraine loses, we all lose. The cost of our inability to assist Ukraine now will be much higher than the cost of standing up to Putin. The world is watching us, and will condemn us if we fail,” they emphasized.

Cameron and Sédillot pledged to reaffirm their support for Ukraine at the upcoming European Union summit in July and ensure a “productive summit” for NATO in the United States. The ministers emphasized that Britain and France cannot solve all global issues alone, but they will do everything to “unite others in overcoming them.”

Ukraine, a country at the forefront of the global struggle for democracy and freedom, requires our collective support. On the international stage, the actions of London and Paris underscore the importance of unity and solidarity in the face of the threat posed by Russia.
