In a recent statement, Synegubov emphasized that new gas turbine power plants will soon be delivered to the city, marking a significant step towards resolving the region’s energy challenges.
“We are expecting the soon-to-be installation of new gas turbine power plants in Kharkiv, which we have procured and will aid in improving the energy scarcity situation,” he remarked.
According to the head of the ORA, these power plants will be pivotal in ensuring electricity supply stability and addressing the energy scarcity problem resulting from systematic attacks by occupiers on the city’s infrastructure.
Currently, representatives from European Union countries and the United Nations are in Kharkiv. They are engaging in discussions with local authorities regarding opportunities for collaboration in the energy and infrastructure sectors to ensure sustainable development in the region.
One of the primary objectives of these negotiations is to attract foreign investments for the modernization of energy systems and the implementation of energy-efficient technologies.
In recent years, Kharkiv has been actively working to overcome the consequences of continuous attacks by occupiers on the city. The development of energy infrastructure and the adoption of advanced technologies contribute to reducing dependence on traditional energy sources and stabilizing electricity supply for the local population, thereby enabling residents to survive during times of conflict.
Therefore, the introduction of new gas turbine power plants in Kharkiv presents prospects for further development of the city’s energy system and helps ensure electricity supply stability for all residents of the region.
