At the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris on June 19, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander of Operations, Christopher Cavoli, expressed deep concern over the evolving situation with Russia, emphasizing the potentially long-term implications for international security arising from the conflict in Ukraine.

“The defeat of Russia in Ukraine is critically important, but regardless of the outcome of this conflict, we are facing a Russia with armed forces recovering much faster than anticipated. Therefore, we will have significant challenges with Russia for years to come, and I believe we need to be prepared for that,” he stated.

He also voiced apprehension about the alliance between North Korea, China, Russia, and Iran, highlighting the complex set of challenges it will pose for NATO, the United States, and other freedom-loving nations.

Cavoli’s remarks serve as a significant indicator to the international community regarding the long-term consequences of the Ukraine conflict and geopolitical shifts in the region.

It is important to note that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue actively defending their positions on the front lines. Commander Sirotsky is set to provide updated information on the current situation. Stay tuned for our upcoming coverage.
