In response to the recent threatening statements from a representative of the Putin administration, Peter Stano, the spokesperson for the European Union’s Foreign Affairs, voiced concerns about the mental state of Medvedev and expressed deep reservations about his well-being.
“Typically, we refrain from commenting on outdated and peculiar remarks, especially from individuals constantly seeking attention, particularly if they consistently play the second fiddle,” noted Stano.
The EU representative added that while it is intriguing that the mentioned individual publicly shares his diagnosis regarding his mental condition, the only advice that can be given is consultation and psychiatric assistance.
“However, I am not convinced that the Russian state, with the billions it has spent on the unlawful war against Ukraine, can afford to invest anything in social security and healthcare for its people,” remarked Peter Stano.
This latest clash between the EU and the Russian representative underscores the tension in international relations and emphasizes the need for attention to leaders’ mental health when addressing global issues.
