In yet another ballistic missile strike by Russian forces on the Odesa region, four civilians have lost their lives. This was reported by Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration. The attack targeted a two-story building in the Odesa district, where civilians lived and worked, leading to its destruction.

The situation became critical as people were trapped under the debris. Emergency services promptly initiated search and rescue operations, successfully rescuing four individuals. Unfortunately, three civilians died under the rubble: a 43-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man, and a 16-year-old girl. Another woman, who sustained serious injuries, later died in the hospital.

Additionally, ten people were injured as a result of the strike, with nine hospitalized, four of whom are in serious condition. Medical personnel continue to fight for their lives.

This missile strike once again highlights the brutality and targeted aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine’s civilian population. The destruction of residential buildings and the significant number of casualties emphasize the scale of the crimes being committed by the Kremlin on Ukrainian territory. Despite international pressure and sanctions, Russian forces continue their mass attacks on Ukrainian cities, using weaponry that leads to the deaths of innocent people.

The Odesa region, which has endured numerous missile strikes from Russia throughout the war, remains a strategically vital area for Ukraine, particularly due to its ports. Each attack on this region incurs both physical and economic damage, creating additional challenges for Ukraine in the ongoing war, which the Kremlin continues to wage with unprecedented brutality.

Russian missile strikes on civilians are also part of a strategy of intimidation, aimed at sowing panic among the population. However, Ukrainians remain steadfast in their determination to achieve victory and liberation from the aggressor.
